George
George is an orange tabby who can go from an energetic play session to curling up in my lap. He brings the playful side of George & Lucky to life.
Our story
I’m Trace, a mechanical engineer and cat dad to George and Lucky. They’re the cats behind the name—and the reason I started thinking differently about the things we bring home for our pets.
George & Lucky Co. grew from everyday life with two cats who have very different ideas about play.

How it began
I adopted George and Lucky after their mother passed away. I had a lot to learn about caring for kittens, so I read, asked questions, and looked for ways to keep their minds and paws busy.
As their collection of toys and puzzles grew, I kept running into the same problems: toys disappeared under furniture, and many activities didn’t suit both cats. I wanted something that could change with their interests and fit into our home.
The names behind the brand
Same home. Two distinct personalities.
George is an orange tabby who can go from an energetic play session to curling up in my lap. He brings the playful side of George & Lucky to life.
Lucky is a gentle tortie who enjoys hanging out—until her favorite toy appears. Then that quiet company turns into a very enthusiastic play session.
Why I built it
That experience became the idea for Snap-Cat: separate activities that connect into a layout you can arrange around your cat and your space.
My aim is simple: make it easier to give cats interesting things to do, while making their things easier to live with. George and Lucky are the starting point, but every cat has their own preferences.
A note from Trace
Cats have been a source of comfort and companionship throughout my life. George & Lucky Co. is my way of putting that care back into the things I create for them.
If you have a question, an idea, or feedback about how something works for your cat, I’d like to hear it.
